The Luxonis OAK-D Pro W PoE w/ OV9782 Camera Sensor is a sophisticated camera specifically designed for robotic vision. This advanced device integrates a broad active stereo depth camera and a high-resolution color camera, both equipped with on-device Neural Network inferencing and Computer Vision capabilities. The camera’s night vision feature enables it to perceive low-light and no-light environments effectively.
The Professional OAK-D PoE utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE) for both power supply and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. This Pro version is particularly suitable for applications necessitating high-quality and reliable stereo depth perception, even in challenging environments such as low-light and texture-less scenes. Its wide Field of View (FOV) enables it to capture a larger area in a single shot, making it beneficial for multi-camera setups, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and object tracking/counting.
The camera’s ability to communicate with other computers via networking protocols and run programs in standalone mode is attributed to its device flash memory. Encased in a rugged, IP-rated enclosure, it is suitable for both industrial and outdoor use. The camera boasts 4 Tera Operations Per Second (TOPS) of processing power, active stereo, and night vision, and is capable of running any AI model.
The camera’s additional features include encoding and computer vision capabilities, stereo depth perception with filtering, post-processing, RGB-depth alignment, and high configurability. It also incorporates a BNO086 IMU single-chip 9-axis sensor with embedded sensor fusion and object tracking.
